Few things create an atmosphere of warmth in a home like favorite food prepared by a loved one. From Grandma's cookbook to recent wedding gifts, this piece holds special memories of spending time in the kitchen with Grandma and hopes of future get togethers and special celebrations.

WOW, how you do silver is just fantastic, and I love your christmas decorations.
I love painting highly reflective objects, they seem to come easy to me. Maybe it's the very distict contrast and hard edges. They always seem so strong. Fun stuff, thanks for coming by.
just stunning, great work!
Great blog!
Wonderfully well painted. beautiful picture.
First saw this piece on WC and loved the thread.
Enjoyed your comment about expensive brown eggs!!! :D
Are congrats in order regarding your recent wedding?!!?
Leslie,
Thank you for your comments. Yes, the eggs. They weren't priced, so I brought them up to the register and asked the cashier to do a price check. She told me the cost and scowled, "I wouldn't pay that much for them." I laughed to myself. If she only knew that I cracked one open and then let two others sit on my porch for weeks.
And thank you for the congrats. We will be celebrating 3 years come April. It's a wonderful marriage - so the time is flying!
I'm glad you stopped by!
This is beautiful. The color sparkles because of the lovely neutral washes in the background.
WOW!
This is absolutely breathtaking! I checked your website and see that this one is sold ... as I was sure it would be - I think it probably flew right off your easel and out the studio door!
Do you ever make art prints? Any chance that you will make prints of this available?
This is my absolute most favorite painting of yours. Stunning doesn't even come close to describe it. Thanks for sharing!
Hi,
This work is great with the surfaces and textures quite well achieved. The lost edges help guiding the viewer.
Your artwork is really Fine Art.
